Anxiety Therapy for High-Achieving Women
with Diann Jimenez, LMHC
helpING driven women who do it all quiet the anxiety and feel like themselves again. Most of the women who find me look like they have it handled. A good career, a family they love, the friend who always shows up. Underneath all of it, they are tired in a way sleep does not fix, and quietly wondering when they stopped feeling like themselves. If that sounds a little familiar, stay a minute. This might be the one you were looking for.
Hi, I’m Diann
I help high-achieving women feel like themselves again.
I'm Diann Jimenez, a licensed therapist and a woman doing it all, right alongside you. I know what it is to look completely fine on the outside while quietly wondering where you went, because I have carried the same load: the career, the home, and everyone else's needs. That is the exact spot I help women find their way out of.
My style is warm, honest, and a little bit girly. We go deep where it counts, and we laugh more than most people expect from therapy. I will meet you with real compassion and I will gently call you out when you need it, because I am not here to nod along while you talk in circles. I do my own work too, so I can show up all the way for yours.
Why I Built a Practice for Women Like You
I built this practice because I am one of us. I want the career and the family and I still want to feel like myself in the middle of all of it, and I know how quietly that last part slips away. I had to fight to hold onto the things that make me me, and I could not find the place I actually wanted to send myself to, so I made it.
You do not have to hand back your career, your family, or your ambition to feel okay again. And therapy with me does not sound like a quiet, serious room where you weigh every word. Some days we get practical and make a real plan. Other days you cry and finally say the thing you have not been able to say to anyone. That is all the work, and it is all welcome here. Underneath the mom and the boss and the friend who handles everything is the woman who used to feel like fun, and getting her back is the whole point.
Who I Work With
The women I work with have usually tried a few things before me. Venting to a friend until they worried they were wearing her out. A self-care weekend that wore off by Monday. Maybe therapy once, that felt like an hour of talking with nothing to carry into the rest of the week. Different lives, same 2am brain that will not shut off. You might recognize yourself in one of these:
❋ The Executive
The one everyone leans on for the answers, who quietly feels one slip away from being found out.
❋ The Creative
Her whole heart is in her work, and lately she cannot tell if she is burnt out or just lost.
❋ The Mom Carrying the Mental Load
Running the house, the schedules, and everyone else's needs, with nothing left for herself by the end of the day.
❋ The Strong One
Called strong for so long that asking for help feels like letting people down.
❋ The High Achiever Who Looks Fine
Successful on paper, worn out underneath, tired of feeling behind in a life she worked hard for.
“Who were you before every role took the spotlight?”

My Goal as Your Therapist
My goal is to help you feel like yourself again, the fun and the spark and the parts of you that got buried under all the roles. Not a calmer, smaller version with lower standards, the whole you.
SET BOUNDARIES THAT ACTUALLY HOLD, SO YOU CAN SAY NO WITHOUT THE GUILT SPIRAL THAT FOLLOWS.
KEEP YOUR AMBITION WHILE WE TAKE THE PRESSURE AND THE SELF-DOUBT OFF OF IT.
FIND REAL REST WITHOUT FEELING LIKE YOU HAVE TO EARN IT FIRST.
WALK AWAY WITH TOOLS YOU CAN ACTUALLY USE IN YOUR REAL WEEK, NOT JUST GOOD CONVERSATION IN SESSION.
FEEL LIKE YOU AGAIN, THE WOMAN UNDERNEATH THE MOM AND THE BOSS AND THE FRIEND WHO HANDLES EVERYTHING.
TRUST YOURSELF AGAIN, SO YOU STOP SECOND-GUESSING EVERY DECISION LONG AFTER YOU HAVE MADE IT.

With Room for the Whole Picture
I provide therapy in English or Spanish. For many of the women I work with, culture is quietly part of the pressure, the high expectations, the guilt, the sense that taking time for yourself is selfish. I understand the particular weight that can carry in Hispanic families, and you will not have to translate that part of your life for me.
There is never a good time. That is exactly why to start
When you are the one holding everything together, a free hour is never simply going to show up on your calendar. If some part of you is already leaning toward this, take the fifteen minutes now. Pick a time that works, and I will take it from there.
